Her story
Lori grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina with her mother, father, and younger sister, Jennifer. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with a BS degree in Business Administration. In 2008, Lori received her MBA from Harvard Business School. She is currently a Manager in the New York office of Bain & Company, a strategy consulting firm.
In her spare time, Lori enjoys baking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
His story
Vlad grew up in New York with his mother and two sisters. He attended Manhattanville College and recently graduated with an MBA The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He will be working in New York in Investment Banking in August.
Vlad loves to hang out with his friends. His greatest passion, aside from Lori and his family are by far his love for footwear. Vlad also has a great passion for giving back and service.
The Story Behind The Wedding
When Lori first came to me she said she wanted elegant, ever changing and wow! We were so excited to plan this 400+ guest wedding and provide a custom build (the large chandelier) for her!
The ceremony was lush green with lots of greenery and hydrangea and candlelight. The custom aisle runner with the silver sparkle was a touch from the bride! The ceremony florals were re-purposed and placed around the staging of the band during the reception!
For the Reception we went with elegant and classic – white and damask linens, then we changed up the table sizes from rounds to squares and back to rounds we also changed the lighting with every different change in “feeling” during the wedding. During dinner the lighting was green, during the “festivities” the lighting was purple, during the dancing the lighting was red.
