I came across this gorgeous shop  Yellow Jelly Beans they have some beautiful hand crafted products , their handmade floral bouquets and wine glass decoration are so cute and pretty!

I took an interview of the lady behind this talented gorgeousness Kristin Parry , read along and see

what motivates her and her beautiful products.

 

 

WedMePretty:  How long have you been in this business?
Kristin: I began my etsy shop in 2009 after the birth of my 2nd child. However my business has really blossomed this past summer and I feel I have found my niche!

WedMePretty: What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?

Kristin: I love looking at items from other artists on Etsy. Photographs also inspire me as well as just nature in general!

WedMePretty: How large, or established, is the business/organization you currently govern? Are you looking to grow?

Kristin: My business is very small, it is just me! I love the size and the quality I can provide my customers. I would prefer to stay this way. I do not want to grow to large that the client becomes just a number!

WedMePretty: Tell us about your most recent project? What was the most difficult and/or relaxed aspect of it?

Kristin: My most recent project was requested by a friend and I created tutu’s for her wedding parties wine glasses. It was very simple and a relaxing project I think the most difficult part was getting the “skirt” to form the way I wanted!

WedMePretty: What sets your business/ organization apart from others of an identical nature?

Kristin: I like to believe that the quality and personal care I take with each client is what will set me apart in the business.

WedMePretty: What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Kristin:` I enjoy that my business allows me to be involved in the special occasions of my clients. I like to create the perfect item to compliment the occasion. I love working with people and being that I work alone I get to have all the contact with my clients and potential clients!

WedMePretty: What are common misconceptions about your services?

Kristin: I don’t think there are any.

WedMePretty: If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?

Kristin: I would love to be able to work faster! I have a million ideas in my head but only so many hours in a day to complete them.

WedMePretty: Are you a home based business? Or have you established your own office space?

Kristin: I am a home based business. I have a separate office in the house that is all for my business however so I can ” go ” to work!

WedMePretty: Where do you see yourself in next 3-5 years?

Kristin: I would like to be more successful and have had many happy clients. I love what I do and hope I can continue to do it. I would love for my bouquets to be showcased in more bridal shops and my wine glass accessories to be carried in more local wineries. But I would be thrilled with just more clients overall.

Kristin: My best selling product has been the crochet flower girl basket. It is simple, affordable and looks so sweet when carried by the little girls.
