  1. When did you know you wanted to be a wedding dress designer?

I fell into being a wedding dress designer when girls started ordering our colorful party dresses in full length and in ivory and white tones as their bridal dress, so I didn’t really know that bridal was what I wanted to do until I was doing it!

  1. What’s it like being in the industry?

It is an incredible industry where you get to be really creative, work with the most beautiful of fabrics, meet incredible brides, and help make their wedding dreams a reality. It is also fast paced, hectic and challenging which is great.

  1. How long does it take to make the dress?

Each Anna Campbell dress is hand – made in Melbourne, Australia which is a time consuming and labor intensive, but a worthwhile process, and something we feel very passionate about. Countless hours go into each dress, from designing, sampling, cutting, machining, pressing, and embellishing.

  1. Where do you get your materials from?

Our fabrics, laces and embellishments are sourced from all over the world! We design with exciting new laces that are hand beaded in Japan, classic French laces, and we work one on one with an incredible beading designer in India where we design and source our beadwork from.

  1. What is your favorite dress?

This changes every time I have a fitting! My favorite dress is about the bride I am working with at that time, and what we create together, that will be perfect for her personality, style and her wedding day. However, if I had to pick one dress from our new collection, the Saasha dress is incredible. The fit is so dreamy, with a fitted guipure lace skirt that evolves into a full, decadent train, and gorgeous hand beaded French lace sleeves.
