This post is for soon-to-be brides and/or grooms planning their last night of fun as single individuals. Most times, the bachelor party is planned by the grooms best man and the bachelorette party is planned by the brides maid/matron of honor.

Some essentials:

1. Lots of ice

2. Bar/counter towels

3. Cocktail Shaker

4. Coasters

5. Jigger

6. Garnish (such as lemon peels and olives)

7. Mixers (such as soda and ginger ale)

8. Bottle opener/Wine corkscrew

9. Ice bucket and tongs

  1. Drink ware (such as tumblers and martini glasses)

Don’t stress over the various alcohol choices. Vodka, gin, and bourbon are the most common and work well regardless of skill level. If you want to go “all-out”, I suggest looking up a few cocktail recipes beforehand. Pick a few favorites and consult with your mixer to insure he/she won’t become overwhelmed with various beverage orders at once. If he/she can handle the pressure, feel free to offer guest all desired options. Remember to include non-alcoholic beverages (such as fruit juices, apple cider, and soda) for your guests. Also, offer something guest can serve up themselves, such as a pre-made beverage (sangria ) or a signature cocktail (add a touch of sophistication with white glove service for your signature cocktail!). Keep in mind, one bottle of wine serves four and one bottle of champagne serves six. Knowing this can ensure you don’t run low when things are just getting started.
